The biggest reason why people don’t get updated family portraits is scheduling. It is hard to get everyone’s schedule to coordinate so the whole family can be in one place at the same time. There are work schedules and school schedules, not to mention the sports and dance schedules.
Unfortunately this is a difficult problem for Masterpiece Images to help with. We obviously don’t have control over everyone’s schedule. However, with some planning and effort we have found most families can make time if the rest of the process is easy. That is our job – to make the rest of the process easy.
There are times when it is impossible to get the whole family together. Maybe some of the family lives out of state and they won’t be all in town at the same time. When this happens we have a great option. We can do a studio session where we take the portrait of each individual and each of their families. We can then digitally place people in the image together. You can’t even tell they weren’t all there together.
