Hints and Tips for Your Engagement Session

The engagement session is truely your first family portrait together.  It also generates the images that become the icons of your wedding.  I think it is important to show who you are as a couple and so here are a few tips on how to do that.

The location you choose can say a lot about you.  It shows your tastes and styles.  It may even show activities you enjoy doing together.  A common mistake made by couples is they see portraits they like and they want to copy them.   Read On!

Rickenbacker’s…the secret wedding place of Ogden

Those who know great food in Ogden know Rickenbacker’s.  What most people don’t know, however, is that Rickenbacker’s is a great place to have a wedding, wedding reception or even a great wedding luncheon.  I had the pleasure to meet with Rebecca (the marketing and sales director) and was delighted at what they are doing.

I have had the pleasure of photographing a wedding reception at Rickenbacker’s.  The family was treated like royalty, the banquet room was exquisitly decorated and the food was amazing.  I believe that Rickenbacker’s is a great place to have a reception for someone looking to enjoy the best that life has to offer (Good Family, Good Friends and Good Food).

If you are looking for a truely memorable experience, whether you are looking for a full wedding package or just a small luncheon, Rickenbacker’s is definitely a place to consider.  If you would like some of my additional thoughts on how you might use Rickenbacker’s feel free to e-mail me at mpimages@mpiweddings.com.
